That time of year is edging closer and closer in. That time where you can't go out with just a jumper on anymore (my usual trick); you need to start wrapping up with more layers than a block of puff pastry.
Never before have I been one to bother with such trivialities such as wearing coats, but in my old age (well, I feel it...), it's beginning to not be a conscious choice, but a necessity. I've been wandering out the house, only to spin round on one leg, Basil Fawlty style, to retrieve my thick winter coat, scarf and beanie!
There were even a couple of times where I'd found icicles where there really shouldn't have been, but that's another story. We won't go there.
What global warming??
