Message On Hold Audio

This is a form of audio where you can have customised greetings on your personal or business phone systems. This is especially important if you have several departments where you want to direct customers to; for example, "Press 1 for the sales department, press 2 for accounts" and so on. Going one step further, it's better when you can announce the person's name who the caller is trying to reach.

There will be times when you are on a different line and someone is trying to get through to you, or when you need to put a caller temporarily on hold. Instead of playing age old, tiresome muzak that you wouldn't even want to listen to in a lift, why not announce the various other services you offer as a company. Perhaps you are wanting to push a particular area of your business portfolio, or want to direct the caller to a specific part of your website; now is the perfect time while they're waiting on the phone listening to what you have to say.

When a marketing opportunity comes your way, embrace it! If that person is going to be waiting anyway, albeit for a short time, you may as well market yourself to fill the gap! You never know, what they hear might just spark a new thought in that caller's head, so by the time they're talking to you, they may well ask for more information on that service they've just heard about.

To Install The Voice Message

Every company's phone system setup is different, so please refer to your telecoms provider/engineer for installation instructions.

Mobile/Cell Phone Voicemail Messages

Similar in principle as the message on hold audio as above, this is designed primarily for your personal or business mobile/cell phone. So many people retain the default network greeting on their phone, for example, "welcome to [network] answerphone, please leave a message...." or  "You're through to the voicemail of [number], please speak after the tone...." etc etc.

I often ask people when I ring them and leave messages like this, why they don't record their own greeting, telling them about their company or service - to at least get their web address heard in order to be the first port of call. The most common answer is "Oh I don't want my voice on there" because they don't like how it sounds when recorded. Don't worry, it's very common for people to think that!

The Solution

To give me a ring, let me know that you want me to record it for you. (There's nothing like being direct and to the point!) All you have to do is send me the short script of what you want me to say, I go away and record it, then send it back to you as a WAV or mp3, whatever suits you best.

How do I get it on to my mobile phone?

Very simply, load up the audio clip on your computer ready to play, turn up your computer's speakers slightly, set up your phone so it's ready to record your greeting, hit record on the phone, play on the computer, and there you have it.

The Price

The pricing depends on what size company you are and how many departments there are to inform & guide people through. This means it's impossible to give a general price here due to the vast difference in script length. Therefore, please get in touch for an accurate, up-to-date quote.
